In Divided Lines, health is only half the battle. A unit's Morale is its lifeblood. Under heavy shelling or a flanking cavalry charge, even the strongest unit can become Shaken. If their spirit breaks, they will Route, abandoning their position and potentially triggering a panic that shatters your entire front line.
